George, again...

"I think they ought to have an annual ceremony at the White House called the Bad Example Award. They should give it to the one person in America who has made the most complete disaster of his own personal life. Someone who through drugs or alcohol or simply a bad attitude has been fired, arrested, killed a marriage, completely alienated friends and family, and perhaps even attempted suicide several times. But it must have happened because of personal behavior and conscious choices, not bad luck. It seems to me people like that never receive any recognition."

On the eve of the election, some words of wisdom ~

"I don't think we should be governing ourselves. What we need is a king, and every now and then if the king's not doing a good job, we kill him."

Maybe Naomi's just a jerk...

A 'Golliwog' supermodel? I've never heard of that one, but I guess it's yet another idiom we have to add to the cumbersome list of words that we cannot say to people of color...

IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE WAY I DRIVE, THEN STAY OFF THE SIDEWALK!

Big surprise here; one of the drivers was unlicensed driver Estebannie Sanchez.

Out, out, brief candle! Life's but a walking shadow, A poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage And then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, Full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.---Wm Shakespeare, Macbeth, 1606

That quote is one of my absolute favorites.

Proof of the Conspiracy!

We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected the promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world-government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.

--David Rockefeller in an address to a Trilateral Commission meeting in June of 1991

What to keep in mind if you are a Obama supporter...

Trustable words are not beautiful; beautiful words are not trustable."---

Counting Down to January 2009

Well, halleluja! I can once again regale the world with my pearls of wisdom (y'all can stop gagging now).

This has been an interminable seven years of Bush idiocy, but what awaits us afterward? This upcoming election promises to be a cluster&*$% of huge proportion. Are we losing America? I think so. We are all (myself included) walking around in a fog, aided and abetted by the purveyors of crap of all sorts.

Anyway, it's good to be back-
