I picked up a book I had started reading quite awhile ago, ETHICS FOR THE NEW MILLENIUM by the Dalai Lama, and found a sheet of paper that I'd been writing my thoughts down on. The date on it was 11/7; I'm assuming it was from last year...
"Dependent Origination"
Dependent Origination and the U.S.-"Recently, while reading a book written by H.H. the Dalai Lama, the thought struck me that one of the concepts he explains, the concept of dependent origination, can apply very strongly to the U.S., and the world, as to some of the situations we as humans find ourselves in."
...an unfinished thought. Probably a pretty good one, too.
